About Me:

I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Ph.D. in Psychology (Cognitive/Experimental emphasis) in 2007. I also obtained my Masters degree in Psychology from UGA in May 2004. And I got my B.S. in Psychology from University of North Carolina–Charlotte in May 2002. Before my most recent round of education, I worked in Charlotte, NC for two years, from 1998-2000, as a bookkeeper. My first round of education consisted of a B.S. in Human Nutrition and Foods from Virginia Tech in 1995 and a Masters of Human Resources from the University of South Carolina in 1997.

I’m originally from Kingsport, TN, which is in the northeast part of TN near the Virginia border. When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, walking with my beagle (pictured below), reading for fun, playing bridge, art museums, independent and foreign movies, and theater.
