Christan Marsh, Spanish

Since middle school Spanish class Christan has know that she loved Spanish and wanted to study the language. At Francis Marion she consulted with Dr. Wendy Caldwell and as soon as she felt ready, spent the fall semester at the Universidad Internacional in Cuernavaca, Mexico. She took her classes in Spanish and said that "immersion in another culture helps you find a whole new you and opens you to possibilities that you never knew existed." Her study abroad experience has increased her self-esteem and caused her to make her life goals more ambitious. She stated that having this experience was great on her resume and that he has already been asked to translate for the PTO.
